Welcome to Pembroke Pines
The city of Pembroke Pines, FL was incorporated in 1960 and now has 151,000 residents. It is the 2nd largest city in Broward County. It has the lowest millage rate. They are opening a 450 acre wetland park. A 160 acre City Center is currently being developed to become our downtown center to give residents a place to reside, and to enjoy recreational activities and outstanding restaurants.
Shopping
The Shops at Pembroke Gardens. The Shops at Pembroke Gardens is an upscale Lifestyle Center serving the communities of Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Weston, Davie, Plantation and Southwest Ranches in the Broward and North Dade counties of the Ft. Lauderdale metro area. Located directly off Interstate 75 at Pines Boulevard, the Shops at Pembroke Gardens offer tremendous visibility and access. This 400,000 sq. ft. Sites to See
Southwest Regional Library. This Pembroke Pines Library and Education Center is one of many close by connected to the Broward County Library System.
CB Smith Park. This diverse 299-acre park has an extensive range of facilities. Some of the activities include picnicking and parties, Paradise Cove Water Park, C.B. Marina, bicycle rentals, golf and batting cages, canoe, paddle boats and Jon boat rentals, concert green and a campground.
Transportation
North Perry Airport. North Perry is a general aviation airport devoted exclusively to private and business light-plane activity. Concessionaires offer fuel, service, air charter, flight instruction, aircraft sales, maintenance, storage and other services for the flying public.

Pembroke Lakes Golf Course. The 18-hole "Pembroke Lakes" course at the Pembroke Lakes Golf Club facility in Pembroke Pines, Florida features 6,555 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 71.1 and it has a slope rating of 126 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Howard Watson, ASGCA/John Watson/(R)John Sanford/Dana Quigley, the Pembroke Lakes golf course opened in 2007. Professional Course Management manages this facility, with Johnny LaPonzina as the General Manager.
Hollybrook Golf & Tennis. U.S.G.A. approved championship golf course. The Executive Par 3 Golf Course "meanders" throughout Hollybrook providing an opportunity to sharpen the "short-game."
Annual Chili Cookoff. Held at C.B. Smith park annually to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.
Pines Ice Arena. If you are into playing Hockey, Figure Skating or just hitting the ice for fun, then this is the place.
