Help For Homeowners Mortgage Seminar is Coming to Broward County
Recently, Bank of America held a seminar in Miami Beach for homeowners who were in need of assistance with their mortgage. The U.S. Treasury has decided to hold a “Help for Homeowners” seminar in Broward County, with major lenders planning to be on site.
On July 11th at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, homeowners will have the opportunity from 11:00 am until 7:30 pm to meet with lenders or housing counselors. You will find out at this event if you qualify for the Obama Administration’s Making Home Affordable program, or if there are other options for your situation from your lender. Among the lenders scheduled to attend: BofA, JPMorgan Chase, CitiMortgage and Wells Fargo.
Onsite parking is complimentary (with voucher received upon departure).
If attending, you will need to bring the following:
- Monthly mortgage statement
- If applicable, information on other mortgages on your home
- Your 2 most recent paystubs for each household member that is contributing towards the mortgage payments
- If you are self-employed - the most recent quarterly or year-to-
- date profit and loss statement and two years of tax returns
- Documentation of income you receive from other sources (alimony, child support, social security, etc.)
- Your two most recent bank statements
- A utility bill showing the homeowner’s name and property address
- If applicable, an unemployment insurance letter
